Ce texte met en évidence dans une première partie, exemples cliniques à l’appui, trois grandes fonctions du regard : une fonction d’intégration des sensorialités dans le jeu de l’interpénétration pour la fondation des enveloppes corporo-psychiques, la « peau »- contenance ; une fonction binocularisante en lien avec les composantes bisexuelles du regard (œil récepteur-œil pénétrant) ; une fonction verticalisante du regard participant à la fondation de l’axe. Dans une deuxième partie sont communiquées des réflexions sur le rôle du regard-attention dans les situations d’observation préventives et thérapeutiques.Mots-clés : regard, attention, image du corps, bisexualité (du regard), verticalité, observations. This text highlights in its first part, on the basis of clinical examples, three major functions of looking : a function of sensorial integration within the interpenetration process for the foundation of the body-psychic envelopes, the « skin »-capacity ; a binocular function linked to the bisexual components of looking (receiving eye-penetrating eye) ; a function of verticality of looking that participates in the axis foundation. Reflections on the role of the « attention-gaze » in situation of preventive or therapeutic situations are communicated in the second part of the article.Keywords : looking, gaze, attention, bodyimage, bisexuality (of the gaze), verticality, observation.
