Cet article interroge l’engouement actuel pour la question intergénérationnelle dans l’espace public. A travers le foisonnement de discours et de pratiques se rapportant à cette question, on assiste à une problématisation des relations entre générations sous une forme inédite. En effet, «le problème intergénérationnel» se présente par le biais de sa résolution, autrement dit par le biais de la promotion de l’action intergénérationnelle conçue comme «remède» à la possible rupture du lien entre les âges dans une société confrontée au vieillissement de la population.
SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION OF INTERGENERATIONAL “PROBLEMS” The article questions the present craze for intergenerational topics within public space. Through the profusion of narrative and practice concerning the issue, the problems of intergenerational relations appear in a new light. The “intergenerational problem” is seen through its solution. In other words through promoting intergenerational action as a “remedy” against a possible breakdown of relations between the ages in a society which is faced with an ageing population.
