Le Bund russe à Paris, 1898-1940

The author unravels the intricacies of the different institutions and supporting groups of the Russian Bund outside the country, so as to rearrange the fragmentary data which have been collected here about the supporting group of the Bund in Paris in the midst of this international network. The Bund in Paris is a mingled group of workers and students in equal parts ; it is difficult to weigh its importance compared to that of other political tendencies among the Jewish emigrants from Russia in Paris. During the inter-war years, the Bund from the Russian Empire gradually looses ground in front of the Bund from Poland.
