Une clinique du virtuel

La notion de virtuel sera questionnée du point de vue de sa modalité excitative/pare-excitative en rapprochant fantasmatisation et réalité virtuelle. Une vignette clinique interrogera le symptôme d’un enfant de 6 ans en lien avec le projet parental d’avoir un enfant, vécu comme trait d’union fantasmé de ce qui pourrait faire couple entre eux. Nous tenterons de démontrer comment le symptôme intestinal de l’enfant nous a conduits à faire l’hypothèse chez lui d’un contre-investissement de sa position virtuelle en réponse à une programmation active des attentes parentales. Cette clinique du virtuel nous amènera à poser et à élargir le sens de la réalité virtuelle en termes d’oscillation entre la puissance potentielle tournée vers l’action et celle du vague attaché à l’éventualité.Mots-clés : Excitation, Pare-excitation, Virtuel, Fantasme, Attention, Analité, Symbolisation. The notion of the virtual will be examined from the point of view of its excitative/para-excitative form, linking fantasising and virtual reality. A clinical portrait will examine the symptoms of a six-year-old child in relation to his parents’ plan to have another child, experienced as a fantasised connection with what their relationship as a couple could be. We will try to show how the intestinal symptoms of the child led us to make the hypothesis of the existence in the child of a counterinvestment of his virtual position in response to an active programming of the parents’ expectations. This clinical analysis of the virtual will lead us to postulate and widen the significance of virtual reality in terms of oscillation between potential power to be realised in action and that of the vague linked with possibility.
