Le corps au travail : De l’instrumentalisation à l’instrumentalité

A partir de notre expérience auprès de personnes psychotiques en E.S.A.T (anciennement C.A.T.), nous consacrons une recherche psychanalytique au champ des interactions entre corps et travail dans le champ de la psychose. Ce n’est que récemment que le travail est devenu un objet clinique mais sans pouvoir être appréhendé à travers la métapsychologie psychanalytique, sortant alors des dérives idéologiques ; on se souviendra du trop célèbre « Arbeit macht frei ». Comment entendre la tentative de désaliénisation par le travail ? Si les murs de l’asile s’effritent, en est-il de même pour l’aliénation ? Si le travail rend libre, de quoi peut-il rendre libre et comment ? Notre hypothèse centrale se résume ainsi : le rapport de type instrumental que le Sujet entretient avec son corps dans le travail représente-t-il un écueil identitaire ? Ne peut-on pas le penser comme participant de mécanismes de défenses mis en place par un Sujet hypermoderne ?Mots-clés : Travail, Corps, Psychose, Instrument, As if. Based on our experience with psychotics in ESAT (Etablissement de Service et d’Aide par le Travail : Sheltered Work and Service Centre for the mentally ill and mentally handicapped) (previously CAT, Centre d’Aide par le Travail), we have devoted a psychoanalytical research project to the field of body/work interaction in the area of psychosis). Work has only recently attained the status of a clinical object, but without the possibility of being interpreted via psychoanalytic metapsychology, which would free it from ideological manipulations ; the famous «Arbeit macht frei» comes to mind. How should this attempt to use work as an instrument for disalienation be understood ? If the walls of the asylum are crumbling, is alienation declining too ? If work makes one free, what does it make one free from, and how ? Our central hypothesis can be summed up as follows : is the instrumental type of relationship that the Subject has with his body at work a hazard for the identity ? Can it not be seen as part of certain defence mechanisms erected by a hypermodern Subject ?Keywords : Work, Body, Psychosis, Instrument, As if.
