Argentina vs Its Generals: A Legal Uproar ?
In Argentina, twenty years after the democratic transition,
it has begun to look like the perpetrators of state violence may be prosecuted
and punished. This article deals with the latest developments of the debate on
military repression. It questions some of the interpretations of this “fight
against impunity” that a revival of democracy is credited with.
