Adaptation d’une échelle d’alliance thérapeutique au contexte des consultations mère-nourrisson

L’alliance thérapeutique constitue un élément essentiel du processus thérapeutique quel que soit le contexte de soin. Il n’existe cependant aucune échelle d’évaluation destinée aux prises en charge des jeunes enfants. L’objectif de cette étude était d’adapter une échelle d’évaluation de l’alliance thérapeutique aux consultations mère-nourrisson. Après traduction et adaptation de la version observateur du « Working Alliance Inventory » (WAI), une étude de validation a été réalisée auprès de 65 dyades mère-nourrisson (3 à 30 mois). L’analyse factorielle individualise deux dimensions : l’alliance mère-thérapeute et l’alliance thérapeute-enfant. La reproductibilité ainsi que la validité de construit sont satisfaisantes. Les résultats retrouvent une association entre le WAI et le résultat du traitement. L’outil apparaît intéressant, méritant d’être validé à plus grande échelle.Mots-clés : alliance thérapeutique, echelle d’évaluation, consultations mère-nourrisson. The therapeutic alliance is an important element of the therepeutic process whatever the context is. However, there is no scale adapted to the parent-infant therapies. The aim of this study was to validate the French adaptation of a therapeutic alliance scale in mother-infant consultations. Following the translation and adaptation of the observer version of the « Working Alliance Inventory » (WAI), a validation study was performed in a population of 65 mother-infant dyads (3 to 30 months). The factor analysis distinguishes two dimensions : mother-therapist alliance and infant-therapist alliance. The reliability and construct validity of the WAI are satisfactory. The results show a significant association between WAI and outcome. The scale appears interesting and deserves to be validated on a larger sample.Keywords : therapeutic alliance, assessment tool, mother-infant consultations.
