En 1973, Lacan fait publier pour la première fois une transcription de l’un de ses séminaires, Les quatre concepts fondamentaux de la psychanalyse. En resituant cet acte par rapport au séminaire Encore qui se tient cette même année, on s’aperçoit que Lacan inaugure une nouvelle théorie de l’écriture qui justifie une nouvelle interprétation de la notion de transcription et en retour bénéficie de la mise en acte de la publication de la transcription. La phrase de Lacan « La lettre radicalement est effet de discours » résume cette nouvelle conception. La désignation de l’objet a comme objet h(a)té constitue la signature du changement de sens que prend la transcription. In 1973, Lacan, for the first time, had a transcription of one of his seminars, Les quatre concepts fondamentaux de la psychanalyse published. If we set this act in relation to the seminar Encore which took place the same year, we see that Lacan inaugurates a new theory of writing which justifies a new interpretation of the notion of transcription and, in return, benefits from the act of publication of the transcription. Lacan’s phrase « The letter is radically an effect of discourse » sums up this new conception. The designation of objet a as « h(a)stened » object constitutes the signature of the change of meaning which transcription takes on.
