À partir d’observations portant sur la période postérieure à 1989, l’auteur s’interroge sur le rôle de l’ethnicité dans la construction et le maintien des différentes identités nationales en Bulgarie, Macédoine, Serbie, Croatie, Bosnie-Herzégovine, il étudie notamment la dimension linguistique du discours nationaliste de ces États-nations. Il y a là une voie pour comprendre comment un certain nationalisme se perçoit, se décrit et se présente et comment une communauté marque ses « frontières » et parle des « autres ».Mots-clés : identité nationale, ethnicité, État-nation, langue, slaves du sud. On the basis of observations concerning the period posterior to 1989 the author analyses the role of ethnicity in the construction and preservation of the various national identities in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and more especially the linguistic dimension of the nationalist discourse of these nation-states. This enables to understand how a certain nationalism perceives, describes and presents itself and how a community defines its « borders » and speaks of « the others ».Keywords : national identity, ethnicity, nation-state, language, south slaves. Aufgrund von Beobachtungen, welche die Periode nach 1989 betreffen, untersucht die Autorin die Rolle von Ethnizität in der Bildung und Erhaltung verschiedener nationaler Identitäten in Bulgarien, Macedonien, Serbien, Croatien, Bosnien-Herzegovina und insbesondere die linguistische Dimension der nationalisten Rede dieser Nationen-Staaten. Dies ermöglicht zu verstehen, wie ein gewisser Nationalismus sich versteht, und eine Gemeinschaft seine « Grenzen » bestimmt und von den « anderen » spricht.Schlagwörter : Nationale Identität, Ethnizität, Nation-Staat, Sprache, Südslawen.
