Le processus est une marche en avant qui nécessite parfois une régression jusqu’au stade de l’identification primaire – particulièrement pour les cas limites –, stade à partir duquel l’objet est créé-trouvé et l’omnipotence restaurée. Pas de pulsion sans un self pour vivre la pulsion. Le holding de l’analyste favorise la reprise de l’élaboration du vrai self pulsionnel et la restauration de la capacité de jouer, condition préalable pour qu’un processus analytique vivant et authentique s’engage véritablement et puisse se dérouler dans l’espace potentiel pour parvenir un jour à son terme naturel.Mots-clés : Holding, Identification maternelle primaire, Processus, “ Squiggle ”, Vrai self, Fonctionnement mental dissocié, Interprétation. The process is an onward-going movement sometimes requiring regression to the stage of primary identification (particularly in borderline states), a stage following which the object is created-found and omnipotence is restored. The drive cannot exist without a self to experience it. The analyst’s holding makes it easier to resume working-through of the drive-inhabited true-self and restore the capacity to play, which is the primary condition for a living and authentic analytic process to get started and take place in a potential space in order to one day reach its natural end.Keywords : Holding, Primary maternal identification, Process, “ Squiggle ”, True-self, Dissociated mental functioning, Interpretation.
