Résumé — L’auteur traite du “ face à face ” en psychosomatique. La diversité des patients atteints d’affections somatiques est si grande qu’il serait abusif de prétendre que ceux-ci sont toujours une indication de travail analytique en face à face. Cette variation du cadre a certainement ses indications pour des patients atteints d’affections somatiques ; sa valeur animante par exemple. Indissociable du cadre est aussi le mode d’interprétation. Peut-on dire que le face à face est rigoureusement de la psychanalyse ou plutôt parler de psychothérapie psychanalytique ?Mots-clés : Face à face, Psychosomatique, Irrégularité du fonctionnement mental Perception, Regard de l’autre, Interventions/interprétations, Psychothérapie psychanalytique. Summary — The author considers the “ face-to-face ” relation in psychosomatics. The diversity of patients suffering from somatic affections is so great that it would be an exaggeration to claim that the latter always require face-to-face analytic work. This particular variation in the framework certainly does have its advantages for patients subjected to somatic affections : for example, for its enlivening value. The mode of interpretation is equally indissociable from the framework. Are we able to say that the face-to-face set-up is rigorously psychoanalytic, or should we rather consider it in relation to psychoanalytic-psychotherapy ?Keywords : Face-to-face, Psychosomatic, Irregularity of mental functioning, Perception, The gaze of the other, Interventions/interpretations, Psychoanalytical psychotherapy. Zusammenfassung — Die Autorin behandelt das Gegenübersitzen in der Psychosomatik. Die Verschiedenheit der Patienten mit somatischen Affektionen ist so gross, dass es übermässig wäre, vorzugeben, dass diese Patienten immer eine Indikation für eine analytische Arbeit im Gegenübersitzen sind. Diese Variation des Rahmens hat sicher ihre Indikationen für Patienten mit somatischen Affektionen ; ihren animierenden Wert zum Beispiel. Die Form der Deutung ist auch untrennbar vom Rahmen. Kann man sagen, dass das Gegenübersitzen völlig eine Psychoanalyse ist oder soll man eher von psychoanalytischer Psychotherapie sprechen ?Schlagwörter : Gegenübersitzen, Psychosomatik, Irregularität des psychischen Geschehens, Wahrnehmung, Blick des Andern, Interventionen/Deutungen, Psychoanalytische Psychotherapie. La diversidad de pacientes aquejados de afecciones somá ticas es tan amplio que sería abusivo pretender que todos ellos son aptos para un trabajo analítico frente a frente. Esta disposición del cuadro analítico es vá lida para ciertos pacientes aquejados de afecciones somá ticas ; es de destacar su valor estimulante por ejemplo. La diversità dei pazienti colpiti da affezioni somatiche è cosi’ grande che sarebbe abusivo pretendere che essi siano sempre una indicazione di lavoro analitico faccia a faccia. Questa variazione di setting ha certo le sue indicazioni per pazienti colpiti da affezioni somatiche : per sempio, la sua funzione di animazione. Anche le modalità d’interpretazione sono indissociabili dal setting.
