L’hypocondrie révèle-t-elle une faille du travail psychique? La clinique montre qu’elle peut se teinter de gradients de mentalisation différents. Certaines formes d’hypocondrie constitueraient une défense psychique solide et éviteraient une désorganisation somatique. Par contre, trop peu mentalisée, la manifestation hypocondriaque se montrerait moins protectrice, et serrait alors plus ou moins coupée du corps sexué et d’une relation d’objet rendant le transfert difficile à établir.Mots-clés : Hypocondrie, Désorganisation somatique, Défense psychique, Corps érotique, sexualité, Représentations de mots et de choses. Does hypochondria reveal itself to be a fault in psychic work? Clinical work shows that it can be tinged with gradients of different types of mentalization. Certain forms of hypochondria constitute a strong psychic defense and can prevent somatic disorganization. Weist die Hypochondrie einen Mangel in der psychischen Verarbeitung auf? Die klinische Erfahrung zeigt, dass sie von verschiedenen Mentalisierungsgraden gefärbt sein kann. Einige hypochondrische Formen bilden eine solide psychische Verteidung und verhindern somit eine somatische Entorganisierung. Wenn hingegen die hypochondrische Manifestierung zu wenig mentalisiert ist, so ist sie weniger schützend und somit auch mehr oder weniger vom sexuierten Körper sowie von einer Objektbeziehung abgeschnitten, was die Uebertragung erschwert.
