Le questionnement ouvert dans cet article
concerne les choix implicites ou explicites
de théorie, de méthodologie et de présence opérés par le psychothérapeute, et
leurs conséquences dans le registre du
social. A partir de la proposition initiale de
nos fondateurs, des ouvertures qu’elle propose mais aussi de certaines failles dans
la cohérence de cet édifice, les gestaltthérapeutes des générations ultérieures ont
accentué certaines directions, en ont infléchi d’autres, voire en ont annulé certaines
autres.
Ces choix thérapeutiques sont à considérer aussi comme des choix de société et ils ne sont pas indépendants de la conception de l’homme du psychothérapeute. Il s’agit donc de montrer les implications de certains choix, les conséquences sociales de certaines modalités de travail et d’inviter le psychothérapeute à avancer sans cesse en direction d’une plus forte cohérence et de choix conscients. The question raised in this article involves the implicit or explicit choices concerning issues of theory, methodology and the presence displayed by the psychotherapist as well as their implications in the social field. On the basis of the initial proposal by our founders, the openings it makes available but also certain faults in the coherence of this building, the gestalt therapists of the following generations have emphasised certain directions, deflected others, and even cancelled some.
Therapeutic choices should also be considered as society choices not independent of the therapist’s concept of the human being. It is therefore necessary to show the implications of certain choices, the social consequences of certain ways of working and to encourage the psychotherapist to progress constantly towards greater coherence and aware choices.
