Méditations sur la Théogonie d’Hésiode

Ce texte essaie de sonder le merveilleux livre d’Hésiode, La Théogonie, de la manière dont Nietzsche nous y invite : « à coup de marteau ». Faire résonner le texte tel un médecin ou un cheminot, « au marteau de la psychanalyse » pour écouter les sons et les vibrations qu’il voudra bien laisser remonter de sa profondeur secrète. La Théogonie montre, en effet, comment de la confusion originaire, apparaît progressivement la distinction séparatrice puis comment après le rejet de la monstruosité incestueuse, naît la généalogie des dieux puis celle des hommes et enfin, comment ces derniers se distinguent des femmes. L’ensemble du récit traduit l’abandon du rêve de toute puissance et d’harmonie bienheureuse pour inscrire avec une douleur infiniment poétique et une blessure lucide, l’être humain comme marqué du signe du manque, de la brisure et de la division.Mots-clés : Manque, Humanisation, Distinction, Mythe. This article explores Hesiod’s wonderful Theogony, and the way in which Nietzsche invites us to ‘take a hammer’to it. We shall attempt to explore the resonances of the text like a doctor or an engine driver by using the ‘hammer of psychoanalysis’to access the deep sounds and vibrations that reach us from the innermost recesses of the text. Hesiod’s Theogony shows us how, from original confusion, separations and distinctions slowly come into being and how, after the rejection of incest in its most monstrous form, the genealogy of the Gods commences, leading then on to the birth of man, and then on to that of woman. The narration in the work shows how the dream of omnipotence and blissful harmony gives way to the notion of infinitely poetic suffering and of a knowing, lucid pain, that of the human being in a state of loss, broken and divided.Keywords : Loss, Humanisation- Distinction, Myth.
