La passion selon Thérèse d’Avila

L’oralité dans l’expérience mystique de sainte Thérèse d’Avila est essentielle dans son union avec un Epoux doté d’attributs maternels. L’aboutissement de l’expérience dans un auto-engendrement oral et verbal s’accomplit notamment par l’eucharistie et par la parole. L’interprétation psychanalytique peut transformer en vérité clinique et sémiologique (c’est-à-dire relative à l’économie sexuelle et à celle du langage) la connaissance anthropologique donnée par la position mystique. La foi en un Père Idéal détaché d’Eros, l’exclusion interne qui pousse la mystique à désexualiser et resexualiser l’idéalisation, la satisfaction orale de l’eucharistie comme réconciliation de la croyante avec le père battu ou l’homme de douleur, se constituent en système qui, tout à la fois, provoque et accompagne la désintrication pulsionnelle. Somatisation, perversion et sublimation forment ainsi le dispositif libidinal de la mystique.Mots-clés : Idéalisation, Jouissance, Oralité, Régression, Sublimation. The orality of Saint Teresa of Avila’s mystic experience plays an essential role in her quest for union with a Husband graced with maternal attributes. This experience leads to oral and verbal self-engenderment expressed more specifically through the Eucharist and speech. A psychoanalytical reading of this can transform the anthropological knowledge conferred by the mystic’s position into a semiological and clinical truth (i.e. in relation to sexual economy and to that of language). Faith in an Ideal Father detached from Eros, internal exclusion which urges the mystic to de-sexualise and re-sexualise this idealisation, the oral satisfaction of the Eucharist as a form of reconciliation of the believer with the beaten father or the man of suffering, all come together to form a system which at once both causes and accompanies drive disintrication. Somatization, perversion and sublimation are therefore the mainstays of the libidinal drives of the mystic.Keywords : Idealisation, Jouissance, Orality, Regression, Sublimation.
