Dans l’ombre de la figure d’Oedipe confronté à Laïos, une autre figure se profile, celle d’Hamlet dans sa rencontre nocturne avec son père spectral. Or l’apparition de l’ombre, telle que la ménage le travail analytique, exige un carburant privilégié, le sang des vivants, sang qui réapparaît lorsque Freud se penche sur la défloration rapportée à l’avidité de l’ancêtre pour le sang virginal. Il faudra attendre la mise en place d’un autre mythe, celui de Don Juan, pour, qu’en lieu et place de l’ombre – ombre à l’intérieur de laquelle ne peuvent surgir, selon la lecture patriarcale, que des revenants–, jaillisse une figure faisant exploser la fantasmatique patriarcale, reposant sur la répétition indéfinie de l’ancêtre. Or une autre distribution des places ne sera rendue possible qu’une fois opéré un changement de substance: non plus le père spectral, inséparable de l’ombre, mais la statue de pierre, rencontrée dans un espace extérieur à soi. Là où était censé se jouer un processus de répétition, survient la confrontation.Mots-clés : Naissance, Sang, Ancêtre, Don Juan, Hamlet. Looming up behind the shadow of Oedipus confronted with King Laios, is that of Hamlet in his midnight encounter with the ghost of his father. Yet the emergence of ghosts from the inner shadows of the mind as experienced in the analytical cure is fed uniquely with the blood of the living, blood which reappears when Freud questions the notion of deflowering virgins and the avidity of ancestors for virginal blood. Only with the myth of Dom Juan does another figure emerge to replace the shadowy ghosts of our patriarchal lineage, a figure which shatters such patriarchal readings rooted in the indefinite repetition of ancestral roles. Distributing roles differently is only possible once a basic change has been introduced - now the ghost of the father, lingering in the inner shadows, is replaced by the stone statue which belongs to a zone outside self.
